My 3rd unit is made in taiwan, and its clicks are solid but i noticed the ring around the sensor has a rough surface as opposed to the smooth surface on the chinese ones. That thing is almost at the same level as the mouse feet so it scratches my mousepad in some places and adds extra resistance. I have the made in taiwan version if that makes a difference.
